No, I will not meet you halfway.

Every now and then, you hold grudges against artists for an array of reasons and every now and then, you might show a slight tinge of interest in their work because the rhythms and hooks get stuck in your head like a major migraine.

I now turn your attention to the Black Eyed Peas - I do not understand their direction into Popland because before, I could actually bear them with the Humps and shout-outs to Mama. Now their new "sound" resembles something of a ringing, overused vocoder magic and torturous repetition of doof-doof.....Ibiza's pungent fart if you will. OK that's my two cents on that.

Back to my point - their song "Meet Me Halfway" has finally wormed its way into my head and set up camp. Why must the universe play games with my heart? And of all songs too...I'd be perfectly settled with a jingle (remember 'My, My Model'? I'm trying to hunt down a possible video of that ad so if you can assist...)

One thing is definitely certain however - I will never meet Fergie halfway for anything because her forehead is way too scary and distracting.
